No Extra Data Work: Finally, a Use for PIMS Reports
Districts are required by law to push and pull data from Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems such as PIMS (Pennsylvania Information Management System). The data you send is immensely rich and valuable: student demographics, enrollment, schedules, attendance and misconduct. But the effort to create the reports is huge, and there is very little direct benefit to the district. The good news is that ExecViz takes the same PIMS reports YOU ALREAY SEND and uses the information as the core data push. Simply copying Frameworks on state data uploads is all you need to do to keep ExecVIz updated with current information.
